EM-7 · Brand Film · Austin, Texas
A dented backyard probe. More duct tape than metal. Built by a kid on a field outside Austin, launched exactly once.
The kid checked the duct tape twice and lit it anyway.
Past the water tower. Past the hawks. Past every sensible altitude for a homemade probe.
The kid grew up and became an aerospace engineer. The probe did not come back for the ceremony.
Everything up here got launched once and never stopped going around. Sound familiar?
And he is still filming.
The present day
250+ productions on the odometer. He walks the ground jobs now too: conferences, customer stories, product launches. Same lens. Same deadpan.

Between jobs

Non-negotiables
Lens head, bent antenna, cracked wing. All three must read as a black blob at 24px, or it is not him.
Not texture. He should look repaired, never dirty. Somebody has been keeping him running.
No joints. The body stays rigid; the personality lives in the iris and the limb arcs.
If a drawing needs a face to land the joke, the pose is wrong. Fix the pose.

The mission system
This is the part that is not merch. Surplus 7 gives EVEN an operating language you can run the business in, and it costs almost nothing to adopt.
Every engagement gets a number. EM-041. On the call sheet, the invoice, the drive folder.
One embroidered patch per client, per year, mailed. Nobody throws away a patch with their own mission on it.
Each case study carries a live number. ORBIT 1,204 · STILL COMPOUNDING. The argument as fact, not claim.
Shoot day is launch. The shared channel is ground control. The b-roll library is the archive.
Guardrail · the probe stays off the homepage hero and out of proposals. The system is what CMOs see. The character is what their team falls for.

The poster · 18 x 24 · 5 color
Ground control
That is the whole argument, and it is why he never lands. EVEN Media builds video content systems for B2B SaaS teams: 250+ productions, scoped to the business, measured in pipeline instead of views.
