Plain-language summary of what evenmedia.co collects, why, who we share it with, and how you can opt out. EVEN Media LLC is the data controller for this site.
1. Who we are
EVEN Media LLC ("EVEN Media", "we", "us") operates evenmedia.co. Contact: juan@evenmediallc.com · (830) 822-3179 · Austin, Texas.
2. What we collect
Analytics (Google Analytics 4). When you visit evenmedia.co we use Google Analytics 4 (measurement ID G-RJTMW042K2) to understand how visitors find and use the site. GA4 places first-party cookies (_ga, _ga_RJTMW042K2) that store a randomized client identifier for up to 13 months, plus session metadata (pages viewed, time on site, referring source, approximate city-level location derived from IP, device and browser type). We do not receive your IP address — Google truncates it before we see anything.
Audit intake form. If you fill out the Content Systems Audit at /audit/, you submit your name, email, company, website, channels, and the answers you provide. We use that information solely to produce the audit you requested and to follow up about it.
Calendly bookings. When you book a strategy call we use Calendly. Calendly receives whatever you enter in the booking form (name, email, scheduling details). Their privacy policy applies.
Email and phone contact. If you email juan@evenmediallc.com or call (830) 822-3179, we receive whatever you choose to send. We do not record calls.
Embedded YouTube videos. Case study pages embed YouTube thumbnails. Until you click play, YouTube does not load a player and does not set cookies. After you click play, YouTube's own cookies and policies apply.
3. Cookies in detail
By default we set no analytics cookies until you accept the cookie banner. The site uses Google Consent Mode v2 — until you opt in, GA4 sends only cookieless pings (no client identifier, no cross-session linkage). If you accept, GA4 sets the cookies listed above. If you reject (or take no action), GA stays in cookieless mode.

4. How we use it
We use analytics data to understand which pages bring in qualified leads, which content drives strategy-call bookings, and where the site needs improvement. We use form submissions to fulfill the audit you requested and to follow up. We do not sell or rent your personal information to anyone. We do not use this data for advertising — we run no ad campaigns on this site.
5. Who we share it with
Google (Analytics), Calendly (scheduling), our email provider (Gmail / Google Workspace), and our hosting provider. Each acts as a processor under our instructions. No advertising networks. No data brokers.
6. How long we keep it
GA4 cookies expire 13 months from your last visit. GA4 server-side data is retained for 14 months. Audit intake submissions are retained for as long as we're actively working with you, plus 36 months for tax/contract purposes. You can request deletion at any time.
7. Your choices
Cookie banner. The banner that appears on your first visit lets you Accept or Reject analytics cookies. Choose Reject and GA stays in cookieless mode. You can change your mind any time — see "Change your cookie choice" below.
Right to access / delete / correct. California (CCPA/CPRA), Virginia (VCDPA), Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, Oregon, Texas, and similar US state privacy laws give you the right to ask what we hold on you, request a copy, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. EU/UK (GDPR) residents have the same rights plus the right to data portability and to object to processing. Email juan@evenmediallc.com with "Privacy request" in the subject. We respond within 30 days.
Do Not Sell or Share. We do not sell or share personal information for targeted advertising. There is nothing to opt out of on that front, but if you'd like written confirmation, email us.
Global Privacy Control. We honor the GPC browser signal. If your browser sends GPC, we treat it as an opt-out of analytics cookies even before you interact with the banner.

9. Children
evenmedia.co is a B2B service and is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect information from minors.
10. Changes to this policy
If we make a material change we will update the effective date at the top and surface a notice on the site. This page is the current version of the policy.
